Today’s question is:
What book are you currently reading?
Oh boy! I am reading several books from NetGalley at the moment.
Little Darlings by Melanie Golding
The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
The Starter Wife by Nina Laurin
They are Mystery/Thriller’s which I am loving right now. I am also listening & Reading to In the Market for Murder (Lady Hardcastle Mysteries #2) by T E Kinsey which is a cozy mystery set in 1908 England – very Agatha Christie feel to it
Now lets see what the others have to say:
Jo Linsdell www.JoLinsdell.com
I’m currently reading Death by Diploma by Kelley Kaye, which I got sent a copy of for review.
About the book:
Emma Lovett leaves her philandering husband and crosses the country to begin her teaching career at a high school in Pinewood, Colorado. There, she meets Leslie Parker, a fellow teacher given to quoting Shakespeare to fit all situations, and the two become fast friends.
Arriving at work early one morning, Emma discovers the body of the school custodian, a man who reminds her of her late father. When the police struggle to find the killer, the ladies decide to help solve the murder. Their efforts lead them to a myriad of suspects: the schizophrenic librarian, the crude football coach, the mysterious social studies teacher, and even Emma’s new love interest.
As Emma Lovett discovers the perils of teaching high school, she and Leslie learn more than they ever wanted to know about the reasons people kill.

My current read is ‘Soldiers of Fortune’ by Jana Deleon. I love the Fortune Redding mystery series by Jana and her writing style is hilarious.

Ever since getting a Kindle Fire, I’ve tried to read more, just so I can weed down my massive TBR list of “Ebooks I’ve Downloaded Years Ago But Haven’t Read Yet”… But I’m also working full-time, and trying to write more… so needless to say, it’s been about a MONTH since I’ve actually finished a book. Currently plowing my way through Angel Tormented by C. L. Coffey. It’s the third installment in her LouisiAngel series about a reluctant guardian angel joining a “House” of Angels living among the good people of New Orleans. I love it, the characters are awesome! Also on my nightstand is a physical copy of You Left Me No Choice by Kelly Blanchard. It’s the fifth book in her Chronicles of Lorrek series, and let me tell you–I bought this book sight-unseen (instead of buying it because I’d read the ebook and enjoyed it) because I love this series so much and I just know it’s going to be good! And it hasn’t disappointed yet!
I am not currently reading. It’s hard to do with the health condition I have going on. I WAS reading Shelter in Place by Nora Roberts. Dumb me left it at the hospital the last time I checked out and someone took it. I’m ok with that though. It means someone likes a good book and they got one for free. I like passing on the joy of reading. But, now that I think about it, I think I might re-read The Collector by Nora Roberts. A woman who pet sits for a living witnesses a murder. She calls the police and they call it a murder suicide. The brother of the accused, a famous painter, sees her in the police station and they strike up a conversation. This leads her to an adventure that includes becoming a reluctant model for a painting, international art, The Russian royal family, love and lots of danger! It’s my favorite Nora Roberts!

I am one of those readers that likes to have more than one book going at the same time. Currently, I am reading You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero, Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center, and Next Right Thing by Emily P Freeman. They are all very different, which makes it easier to keep them all straight, lol.
Great answers ladies! Be sure to check tomorrows stop over at Views She Writes https://viewsshewrites.wordpress.com where we will be answering the question ” A book on your TBR you can’t wait to read this Summer “
