Susan Grey hosts her fiftieth birthday party in her rather lavish Georgian home, it is the most over the top party and the talk of all the social circles, and it was a night everyone will Definity be talking about for a long time to come. And for all the wrong reasons.

Susan suffered a horrific fall down the grand staircase, but was it really an accident or was she pushed? She had plenty or arguments throughout the night with various people, did one of them give her a nudge at the stop of the stairs?

There are lots of suspects and DI Grace Roth certainly has her work cut out narrowing it down. This was a good read with a few twists along the way to keep you on your toes.
