Review Policy

Whilst I would love to read and review every request that is sent, that is simply not possible, however, I will endeavor to read and review as many as I can.

If you have a deadline please make that clear when requesting a review.

Unless I am taking part in a blog tour that includes a review any reviews I post outwith those will include the below:

My reviews will include:

  • Book Cover
  • Synopsis
  • publisher/general book information (hardback/paperback, pages, target audience).
  • Links to the Author (home page, blog, Twitter, etc)
  • Links to Buy the book (Amazon (UK and USA) unless otherwise stated.
  • My own summary and review, along with the rating. My rating system for reviews is listed below.

Rating System
We operate on a star system

5 * – Excellent, one of the best books I have read.
4 * – Brilliant, couldn’t put it down.
3 * – Good, would recommend
2 * – Average, take it or leave it
1 * – Bad, wish I hadn’t bothered
DNF – the book was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it!

It is very rare that I come across a book that I give less than 3 stars let alone not finish, but this does happen. I have chosen to still publish these reviews to give my experience of them, If you would rather I not post anything less than 3 stars please let me know.

How long does it take to review?

I will en-devour to review your book within 4 weeks of receiving it, however, depending on how many I currently have on my to review list it may be later.

If you have a specific deadline for when you would require a review to be posted please state this when getting in touch, and I will advise if it is feasible for me to review.

Genres I will review:

I am open to reviewing all genres of books, as I read a variety as it is. I am open to new genres as well.

As I have children I am also willing to review children books. Ages range from baby, toddler to primary school age.

Genre I tend not to read but would be willing to review:

Science Fiction

No matter what I will always give my HONEST review, regardless if I received the book free or ARC.

I do not believe in giving a good review if I did not enjoy the book, If I find it so bad that it less than 3 stars I will always try my best to explain why the book didn’t work for me. It is very rare that I come across a book that I give less than 3 stars or even do not finish.

    Dear Ebook Addicts

I recently came across a couple of your book review entries and particularly enjoyed your writing style and content, which is why we would love to invite you for a collaboration with us.

Recently, KidGuard published a short guide on, “How to Monitor & Spy on Text Messages of Your Child Like a CIA agent” and we would love to send you a free digital copy to review. Does that sound like something you’d be interested in?

I know you’re probably really busy so I’ll follow up with you later on if I don’t hear back!
