The Story:

Cookies with a Side of Murder is book 5 in the Daley Buzz Series and in this one we finally get to the bottom of Sabrina’s sisters disappearance. I knew it was going to result in her body being found – I think everyone reading this series had that same thought. But reading it was still a shock. Sabrina has been looking for clues of her sister for the last 11 years and to finally get an answer – all be it was not one she was looking for finally gave her the closure she and her family needed.

Once again Sabrina and David got head to head to find Jessica’s murder and this time around I had no idea who it was going to be. 11 years is a long time, but Sabrina, hard though it was for her to investigate, managed to bring the killer to justice.

The Narration:

Lisa Beacom once again brings this story to life and she has really grown over the last few books she has narrated. She has the characters down to a tee now. Again this was crisp and clear production.
