This is book 1 in death stalkers MC Series, and one I have not read previously. This is a gritty novel a very emotional, it sees Lucy escaping from her abusive (and this is mildly putting it) family only to run into Jordan how is a prospect for the Death Stalker MC. they find out about what has happened to her and also that she is underage, which brings its own set of complications when Lucy and Jordan grow close.
|This is one roller coaster ride of a story. And it all based around how miscommunication can seriously damage relationships.
Julia and Brain are in love and though they are always arguing the love and chemistry is always present. Dan is Julia’s best friend and he and Brian don’t get on – jealousy on both parts.
We then fast forward 8 years and Julia is now married to Dan and live is great – that is until Brian shows back up in town. It is clear that they both still have feelings for each other but we learn that Brian thought she has ended the relationship all those years ago.
There are so many twists in this book that I loved it. As the book progresses you are met with the reason behind them both thinking that each other had called it off and you won’t believe how.
Brilliant book well worth a read.
This books covers some pretty intense topics and may have some triggers for some people.
We meet Madison who has had a crap upbringing so far and now she is in a abusive relationship with her boyfriend Chris. She doesn’t really know what love is until Carter shows her what it really is all about. As the book progresses she has the courage to end things with Chris and her relationship with Carter just grows from leaps and bounds. We don’t hear much from Chris after they break up but you just know something is going to happen. The ending no matter how much I love this book felt a little flat and sudden, with a little epilogue at the very end to tie it all up. I felt for the bool be as great at it was the ending felt a little rushed.
However, I am still giving this 5 stars as I totally loved how much Carter showed Maddy just what love is and I loved their relationship.
