Alisha Woods knew she was in trouble. The situation was progressing. The harmless flirtation had long past intriguing and now bordered on terrifying. She had to take action, go on the offensive against her stalker. As she opened the door of Young Guns, she promised herself that she’d be ready when he came for her. She would survive.
Mike Lewis lived each day knowing that life could evaporate in a moment. Ghosts followed him, haunting his soul. He craved redemption, a chance to right the wrongs of his past. And when Alisha walked in, he recognized his chance at redemption. He would save her.
After everything Mike had done to prepare her, she thought she was ready. But as the blood spilled from her lips, Alisha’s mind raced for what she could have done differently…
She should have listened to Mike.

The start of the book we meet Alisha, who is heading to buy a gun. Starting this way you know something is seriously wrong for her to be purchasing a gun, and it immediately had me hooked,

Just what was so wrong that she needed that kind of protection? She is being stalked, and it has gotten her scared enough to buy a gun. In the gun store she meets Mike, works in the security business and it clear to him something is wrong, given the fact the it appears that Alisha has no knowledge of using a gun. He offers to help her our at the gun range and she agrees,

Mike manages to get her to open up to him about what has been going on, and thee is no denying there is a spark between them – but he tries to keep it professional to start with anyway.

I had no idea who the stalker was, and the several male lead put forward had me thinking it was the wrong one!

This was a brilliant suspenseful read and I loved every minuet of it and the nerve wrecking last few chapters.

5 stars

I’m so glad that you enjoyed BLOOD KISS. I had a blast writing it. I decided to write BLOOD KISS in the third person so the reader could better understand the story line from each character’s point of view. It was fun to switch from writing young adult (my SCINTILLATE Series) to writing a romantic thriller. BLOOD KISS is the first book in the Savage Security Series. I hope to have the second book, AVENGING KISS, available around the New Year. http://www.amazon.com/Karen-Tjebben/e/B00F1VIJKQ
