Blucy is a cat but a cat like no other, as Mandy found out when she brought her home from the pound.
Blucy: The Blue Cat is a story about a cat who wont eat normal food and turns blue, thus camouflaging herself from Mandy. Mandy doesn’t give up and still tries to train and feed Blucy until one day she has an idea and she gives the cat some blueberries to eat – something blue!
From that day on Blucy rarely causes trouble and comes when Mandy calls her.
This is a wonderful little story brought to life by the vibrant illustrations used through out the book, it was a delight to read and my 4 year old love it!
At the end of the story there are some cat-tastic facts and a hidden pictures page – which is a great wee added bonus.
About the Author
Julia writes children’s stories for digital and traditional publication. Her stories span the spectrum of humor, fantasy, and edutainment in rhyme and in prose. Julia’s background in elementary education affords her the opportunity to be in touch with what children want to read about and what makes them giggle.
