Welcome to the picturesque Cotswolds in the quaint English Countryside to the town of Dedley End where visiting the village fete will lead to a deadly end for one patron!
I absolutely loved this book, and though I haven’t read book one in this series I instantly felt at a home with the characters and the whole country village setting was just a perfect read for me. If anything has taught me in mysteries set around village fete’s is that someone will evidently wind up dead – I loved how the author set that up in the prologue and then had me thinking it would be a certain person right up until the chapter where it happened and it was revealed to be someone else – nicely done!
This book had me turning the pages well into the night as I just had to find out whodunit! This story was twisty and had me second guessing my ‘decteive’ skills as to who the killer was. Brilliant read and I can’t wait to see what is in store next in the series.
