REVIEW

I have not long read The Cellar which was a rather dark and twisted read and I was expecting that same feel from The Bride but this was much more tamer, yet still a gripping thriller.

Dairy Earl newly married, pregnant and also newly widowed she is writing her story from her prison cell where she is being held after being arrested and charged with alleged murder of her husband James. She is determined to clear her name for her unborn child and find the truth behind his death. Told in the form of flashbacks before and after James murder we are treated to what life was like for these young lovebirds who have been together since high school and all through college.

This once again a gripping thriller form Nicholl and that twist at the end! Oh boy I had to read it several times!
