[Tour & Review] Crashing into Love (The Bradens at Trusty #6) by Melissa Foster

The Bradens, Love in Bloom Series #20

Only one woman could hurt ultra-alpha bad boy Jake Braden.
Only one woman can heal him.
Fiona Steele has arrived…

Fiona Steele has a great career, strong friendships, and a loving family. To an outsider, her life appears happy and fulfilling. But the one thing that’s missing is true love, and the only man Fiona wants is the one she can’t have, sinfully handsome and seductively intense Jake Braden—the man whose heart she broke, which she has regretted ever since.

As an LA stuntman, Jake Braden’s at the top of his game. He’s hired for all the best movies, hooks up with the hottest women, and lives an unencumbered lifestyle where his needs come first—and where he doesn’t have to examine his life too closely. Except when he visits his family in his close-knit hometown of Trusty, Colorado, where he spends his time avoiding Fiona—the only woman who knows who he really is.

When Fiona’s best friend is hired to act in Jake’s movie, Fiona jumps at the chance to try to win him back. There’s no denying the white-hot attraction burning between them. With every encounter, Fiona hopes Jake can’t resist falling back into the love they once shared. But her well-orchestrated rendezvous doesn’t go over well with the brooding heartthrob. Living in the fast lane is perfect for a guy who’s buried his emotions so damn deep he’s not sure he can remember how to feel—and he’s not sure he ever wants to.

THE BRADEN COUSINS are one of the newest additions to the LOVE IN BLOOM series.

**CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

Crashing Into Love is my first encounter with one of the Braden men, I have longed to read about them as I have seen so many great reviews for Melissa Fosters Braden series (in fact all her books!)

Fiona Steele and Jake Braden used to date, and it is clear that she really broke his heart and screwed him up big time when she broke off their relationship before heading to college.

In this book Fiona put her promotion on hold to chase after Jake, in the hopes that he will take her back after all this time apart and give it a go at a second chance. Her friend Trish hires her as her PA, on the latest movie she is filming and Jake just so happens to be the stuntman for main male lead.

You can tell by Jake they he still cares about her and loves her, despite trying to avoid her like the plague when they meet in their hometown.

Fiona really goes all out to win him back, but his fame makes her slightly uneasy as she isn’t used to be in the spotlight. The six weeks that they are together is amazing for them, but neither really want to talk about what will happen after that point.

Do they get their happy ever after? Who gives up what for whom? You will just need to read it to find out.

Again as with all of Melissa Fosters books this is easy to read as a stand alone, and the more I read her books the more I love her characters.

You need to go back and read about each of Jake’s siblings. Well worth backing up.
