[Review] Tatted Love by Kathryn Jacob

Lexi Starr is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades, and a sweet boyfriend. She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Derek, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans.

Well……The cover of this is amazing and got me all fired up and ready to read. But I was disappointed.

This has so much potential to be a good story, but it just seems a little disjointed and the characters are dull for want of a better word. I struggled with dialog as well, it just didn’t seem to flow very well.

The flow was so bad for me that at one point I had to go back a re-read a few pages as I thought I had missed something…. it made it a little confusing.

It is also badly in need of serious editing:

p75 “Are this those your books?” is just one example.

And it just ended. I wasn’t expecting it to just suddenly end so I am glad that there is another book planned and I hope that is going to be a bit more tighter and a much more fuller story.

Sadly this is a 2 stars for me 🙁
