Bookish Blog Hops’ Spring Hop Day 26:
When did you last visit a library?
I am lucky that my library is 5min away from my house, so really I have no excuse to visit it though having said that I try to go once a week with the kids to let them get books and I have also a member of the library book club since around Sept last year and we meet on the last Monday of every month to discuss that months book.
I think it is important to support and use your local library as in some cases it a central hub for a lot of people of all ages to enjoy. Our one has kids activity on a Sat and it is far from the stuffy you need be quiet atmosphere that it used to be when I was a kid.
Now lets see what the others have to say:

Oh, it’s been awhile for me. I used to go at least once per week. In 2020, one of my goals has been to catch up on the books I have been sent for honest reviews and read through the physical books that I own. Because of this goal, I haven’t been requesting anything from the library. I’m sure that will probably change once the weather gets a bit warmer and I can walk up to the library from work again.

I regularly check out audiobooks and ebooks from my local library, but the last time I actually visited it in person was last year. Stepping in the building actually made me a bit nostalgic because bookstores and libraries used to be my favorite places to go relax and just explore.

As much as I hate to admit it it has actually been over a year since I’ve gone to the library. I had actually gone the week right before my son was born. It is something I regret because going there could probably save me a lot of money and I could probably find a lot of books there that I haven’t read.

It’s been a while since I last went to the library. At one point I was going weekly but over the last few months my health hasn’t been really good enough to walk there. I am hoping to start going a little more often once the warmer weather is here and I’ve caught up on my TBR list.

Well, technically the last time I went was “today” (at the end of February)… but it was to pick up a book for someone else. The last time I went to get books for myself was back in January–and I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t even read those books yet! I wanted to be more intentional about reading, I wanted to make an effort to read more often this year, than I have been for a really long time (I think the last time I went before that was back in November or something…), but it hasn’t quite happened yet. There was a time when I was flipping through books so fast, I could visit the library at least once a month, and I really want to get back to that!

I haven’t been to the library since I started blogging almost two years ago now. I hate it! I loved going to the library and browsing books. I used to come home with a huge tote full of books every couple of weeks. It’s something that I really should do, especially with big name publishers’ books that I wasn’t lucky enough to get on Netgalley.

I last went to the library at the end of February 2020. I go at least once a month with my kids. I just recently renewed our library cards and plan to make good use of them this year.

Fun fact, I am a librarian! I am at the library at least five days a week on average as a result. I love the library and would visit once a week or so even if I didn’t work here, I think.
