REVIEW
Oh my, this book had me crying. Maybe because I had just been to a funeral this morning for a friend who passed away from cancer but this had me tearing up from the get go.
This a beautifully told story of loss, grief and love. Despite the beginning it has a happy ending. I wouldn’t consider that to be spoiler… 🙂 you will definitely need some tissues at the ready.
Izzie is mischievous little 8 year old and Aaron her dad will do anything to give her little girl her last wishes. Christy is an oncology children’s nurse who volunteers to help make Izzies Christmas wish come true – to be a family for Christmas.
For such a short story you go through so many emotions, and it a brilliantly told story of how two grieving people are brought together buy a little girl.
