Synopsis
How can one man ruin every life he touches?
When sexy former racing driver and now international playboy, Matt, ends up in hospital, four people sit outside his room and wait to hear whether he will live or die.
Each one of them wants him dead.
This book takes you on an exciting roller coaster through each of their lives. A breathtaking story of lives entwined in desire, passion, lies, deceit and epic betrayals.
What makes one man so hated by everyone?
This was hard read. It covered really dark story lines – which I realise the author has done in a way to educate.
I struggled to read this book and almost gave up at about 30% as I just could not connect with any character, I did persist with it and whilst I didn’t enjoy the book it is well worth reading to the end for the twists. In fact this book is filled with twists and turns which held my attention away from the deeper story line.
The prologue got my interest when Matt is in the hospital and four people are waiting to see if he lives or dies. And after reading it, never have I read a book where I wished someone dead as well.
If you don’t like subject of rape or (child) abuse, then this is not for you. I am not easily bothered by hard, dark story lines bit this one was slightly hard for me to read for some reason.
3.5 stars….
