Blurb

Mary Beth doesn’t want a stupid trinket from a tourist shop. And a guardian angel charm for her pocket is certainly not something she needs.
However, to placate her well-meaning mother, Mary Beth throws the trinket into her handbag and sets off to Northamptonshire for a singles Christmas Holiday Extravaganza.
When sexy, single Noel saves her from drowning, it’s no coincidence that he happens to share his name with the angel in her handbag. As the Festive season gets into full swing, will events scare Mary Beth away, or will she learn to trust Noel and let him become the guardian of her heart as well as her body?
The magic of Christmas is about to begin.

REVIEW

I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas novella, the only thing was that I didn’t want it to finish! I am no religious in the slightest so I wasn’t sure how well I would enjoy this seeing as is it all about a Guardian Angels being real, but I really enjoyed this story and the characters.

Mary-Beth has decided to forgo the traditional Christmas with family since her father passed away the previous year and head to a singles event in Northamptionshire, little does she know that the little guardian angel charm her mother gave her actually comes to life in the form of the handsome Noel, he has been sent to earth to be her guardian angel and subsequent lover. But there are some things that happen that forces Noel to show his wings to her well before her time, that may jeopardise their life. A guardian angel showing his wings before they are supposed runs the risk of the person dismissing them, which if Mary Beth did then essential Noel would wither and die.

The connection between them is there from the start, and once Mary Beth finds out that Noel is an Angel she finds it hard to believe, but deep down she can feel the truth in her heart. This was a heartwarming little novella, and I really really want to read more from this unique way of Guardian Angels meeting their life partner.

4 stars
