MY REVIEW
This was a interesting take on Vampire and I loved Ms Sinclair’s take on them and was really interested in the whole Bloodmating scenario.
Julian whilst searching for his Bloodmate and brooding over Carissa, a girl who disappeared when she was 13 years, he called in by the Elders to help when a war is waging that could end the Vampire race. In doing so he meets his Bloodmate Serina.
The whole Carissa story line was instantly predictable and unfortunately I didn’t like Serina very much. She was weak character and annoying in the fact that she had to mollycoddled and looked after pretty much constantly.
I did enjoyed the story line, though sometimes it was long drawn out minuet and then all action or sex. I give it a 4 stars on the basis that I did enjoy it but the characters could have been developed more as we don’t really know much about them, but then again that might come as the series progresses.
4 stars
Jaden Sinclair lives in a small town of Kansas with her husband of nineteen years, two boys and a few pets that keep her hopping. Between sports and the animals it’s a wonder at times how she is able to keep the flow of her writing going. But she does.
She has many series in the works and out for your enjoyment, and most know her for the Shifter series. Between werewolves, vampires, scifi, new worlds or simple romances, one never really knows what will come out next.
