[Review Tour] Tempting Tristan (Harborside Nights) by Melissa Foster
New Release…
Tempting Tristan is a stand-alone M/M romance featuring two sexy, lovable alphas from the Harborside Nights series.
Fresh off the heels of yet another bad relationship, Tristan Brewer is taking a break from men to try and figure out where he keeps going wrong. He knows his biggest fault—he leads with his heart, not his head—and that’s never going to change. But after several introspective weeks, he’s beginning to get a handle on things. That is, until badass heartthrob Alex Wells walks into his bar…
Alex has spent eight years in the Army, months in a hospital bed, and far too long hiding his sexual identity. He’s guilt-ridden, damaged, pissed off, and up for a Silver Star—for the incident that nearly cost him his life, and kept him from his grandmother’s funeral. But all he wants to do is forget his stint with the institution that allows but doesn’t necessarily accept, and live the life he’s always dreamed of.
The chemistry between Tristan and Alex ignites from the moment they meet, and the more time they spend together the hotter the flames become. But the closer Tristan gets, the more Alex’s walls go up, and when the two walk onto a military base, Tristan finds out Alex’s physical scars aren’t the ones that run the deepest.
HARBORSIDE NIGHTS is a sexy, hot, and evocatively real series of stand-alone romances that follows a group of friends who have known one another for years as “summer” friends, and now come together after college to build their lives. They’re tough, edgy, and accepting—most of the time. This series is written in the same loving, raw, and emotional voice readers have come to love by New York Times & USA Today bestselling, award-winning author Melissa Foster with LGBT themes.

Catching Cassidy my review
CATCHING CASSIDY is a SILVER MEDAL Winner! Readers’ Favorite Award, Realistic Fiction
Wyatt Armstrong never imagined that instead of celebrating his college graduation, he and his twin sister would be dealing with the death of their parents. Then again, Wyatt had never been one to think past tomorrow. He heads to their summer home in Harborside, Massachusetts, with his best friend Cassidy Lowell in tow, to deal with his parents’ death and to try to figure out his next step.
Six foot two, infuriatingly handsome, and flirtatious, Wyatt Armstrong has always been there for Cassidy, helping her pass her classes and fend off unwanted advances, while driving her insane with his one-night stands–but that’s what best friends are for, isn’t it? Having each other’s backs. There was never any doubt that she would accompany him to his family’s summer home–but she never expected to begin seeing Wyatt as more than a friend. Or has she been ignoring her feelings all along?
It’s impossible to ignore the sizzling heat between them as Wyatt and Cassidy get even closer, but Cassidy knows Wyatt’s past, and she has a real job to begin in the fall. Wyatt may be a sure thing for the summer, but Cassidy needs more. For the first time in his life, Wyatt is forced to look toward the future if he doesn’t want to lose the one woman who’s shared his past and owns his heart.
Discovering Delilah my review
DISCOVERING DELILAH is an New Adult Lesbian Romance (#LGBT)
After the death of her parents on the day of her college graduation, Delilah Armstrong thought she could finally follow her heart and come out to her closest friends, but the guilt of going against her parents’ beliefs haunts her. The feelings she has for her best friend, Ashley, are stronger than anything she’s felt before, but Delilah has never even kissed a girl, and fear stops her at every turn.
Ashley Carver promised herself that she would never again date another girl who wasn’t out, but that was before she met intoxicatingly sweet and sexy Delilah.
When another girl offers to teach Delilah the ropes, it changes Delilah’s whole world and gives her the courage to go after the only girl she really wants. But coming out isn’t as easy as Delilah imagined, and moving past her parents’ death and the feelings of guilt she is left with is even harder. The intense passion between Ashley and Delilah is too strong to deny, but coming together means risking everything.
Discovering Delilah is an edgy, evocative, romantic story of friendship, family, and the courage to love.

REVIEW
I have been dying to read this and it did not disappoint one bit. This is a male/male read and whilst I have read several M/M books in the past (mostly erotica) this one was by far the best I have ever read!
I loved every minute of this book from the beginning to the very end. Tristan and Alex’s story is filled with so much emotion, romance and hot sex true to Melissa style, but this one was done in such a way that it didn’t matter that the leads were both male, the story was strong and you will love them both.
Alex has moved back to Harborside after his grandmothers death and following an honourable discharge from the Army following an accident that cost him damage to his leg – his leg is not the only that is damaged, as years of being the military has forced him to hide his sexuality. Now he is in Harborside he can finally be himself or can he?
Tristan has been hurt in the past and has sworn off men for a while, that is until Alex walks into the Taproom bar. He is a brilliant character and I loved how compassionate he was toward Alex and his injuries, how he helped Alex deal with his demons and try break the mould that the military had installed so deep in him.
I am not going to lie I did tear up towards the end as I was just happy that Alex stepped out his comfort zone and acknowledged Tristan the way he did – I am not wanting to spoil it you will just need to read it, but I loved that part and it made me fall in love with both characters even more.
For a M/M read this was so much more that just sex, even though that was hot no lying! It was a deep connection between two men, one of which who has had to deal with the harshness of being gay in the Army – I can imagine what it must be like but I think Melissa has done a bloody brilliant job and getting those feelings and emotions across in this book.
5 stars without a doubt.
